529 Plans
A 529 Plan is a college savings plan operated by a state or educational institution designed to help families set aside funds for future college costs. Contact your 529 plan administrator regarding the disbursement of funds from the account.
Payments from 529 College Savings Plans should include the student’s name and UIN on the check to ensure proper credit. Payments should be mailed at least 10 business days prior to the due date to allow for mail delivery and processing time. Checks should be made payable to the University of Illinois and mailed to the following location:
